How we work with charity:water, a non-profit organization, to bring clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations:
STEP 1: PURCHASE GALS LIP BALM
663 million people on Earth are living without clean drinking water. 50% of your lip balm purchase goes to a fundraising campaign for clean water projects. Rest assured knowing charity:water puts every dollar of your donation to use.
STEP 2: 100% OF YOUR DONATION GOES TO THE FIELD
When our fundraising campaign closes, the money raised is pooled with other donations in that time period. charity:water determines the location of greatest need, and 100% of the money is sent to the field so that work can begin.
STEP 3: SMILE AS YOU VIEW COMPLETED PROJECTS
It takes 21 months for charity:water and their partners to work with local communities to implement and complete projects. Once they are finished, we will be sent the photos and GPS to show us the exact community that each of our dollars have helped. This information will be passed along for you to see on our website.
